Hoe het werkt.
Het VTU Wireless Access Point is een draadloos toestel combineerbaar
met de 802.11a/b 54/11Mbit/s Wireless Solution. Het Wireless
Access Point maakt een connectie met uw bekabeld Ethernet
netwerk, en biedt zo de toegang aan mobiele gebruikers en
moeilijk te bedraden lokaties. De unieke architectuur beschikt
over tweeledige PC Card slots. Het Wireless Access Point is
geschikt voor een 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet infrastructuur.

Doubles your network capacity
The use of two Wireless Network Interface Cards allows each to operate
on a different frequency channel.
Creates a wireless backbone
In large open areas like warehouses and retail stores, the architecture
supports a wireless-to-wireless bridging feature. This allows you
to build an extension to your wireless network without expanding
the wired backbone.
Lowers your network management cost
Windows based SNMP-compliant Wireless Manager makes it easy to configure
your Wireless Access Point. You can also use this software to centrally
manage, control, and remotely monitor your enterprise-wide Wireless
network.

Dual PC Card slots provide flexibility in the use of wireless radios.
An upgrade to newer radio technology can be established very easily
