EMW wins NAVSEA Seaport-E contract

Herndon, Virginia, USA — EMW, Inc. has won a prime contract by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to provide Professional Support Services under the Seaport-e program. Each indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract (MAC) is for a base of five (5) years with two five (5) year options which allow for long-term partnerships. The Seaport-e contract has been established as a broad and flexible means to meet the Navy's changing support requirements.

EMW has formed a comprehensive, fully integrated team of subcontractors to support the NAVSEA Warfare Centers, NAVSEA Headquarters, and its related PEOs and to meet the multifunctional challenges of the SeaPort-e contract. Together with our partners – Axiom Resource Management, The Louis Berger Group, and Teracore EMW will provide a broad range of services across many functional areas to support the Navy's enterprise infrastructure and information structure challenges worldwide. Specific services include business process reengineering, information systems security, information assurance, enterprise design, systems operation, integration, consolidation and maintenance, education and training, program and project management, and network support. SeaPort-e will help NAVSEA reduce costs and promote business efficiencies in the effort to lead the Navy on a successful course. SeaPort-e furthers the Navy’s Seapower 21 objective to increase efficiency, and allows for tailoring services according to the needs of geographically-dispersed organizations with significantly diverse product area requirements and missions.

The Seaport-E contract vehicle is also available to other DoD and federal agencies. Collectively, the EMW Team provides incumbent expertise, stability, and the capability to provide skills to NAVSEA for existing and future requirements.
