BG Frank Serio (US Army, Ret.) Joins EMW

Fairfax, Virginia — EMW is pleased to announce that Brigadier General Frank Serio (US Army, Retired) has joined the firm as an Advisor and Consultant to the Business Development organization. His efforts will considerably increase EMW’s visibility within the military community worldwide.

During his Army career, General Serio served at every command level from platoon to division, including combat commands in both Korea and Vietnam, and held senior staff positions at the Department of the Army; Office of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff and at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. While on active duty he was also selected and served as Presidential Appointee by Presidents Ford and Carter to conduct direct negotiations with representatives of the Soviet Government concerning the implementation and compliance with the Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty.

After a successful military career he retired from the Army and joined Analytical Systems Engineering Corp (ASEC) as Corporate Vice President responsible for operations in New Jersey; Washington, DC; Quantico, VA; Europe and the Middle East. ASEC was subsequently acquired by Affiliated Computer Services which in turn was acquired by Lockheed Martin. He left Lockheed Martin in June of 2004.
